In Angola, authorities dismantled 25 crypto mining centers operated by Chinese nationals, confiscating $37 million worth of equipment. The seized power assets will be repurposed to support electricity supply in vulnerable regions.
Zambian officials uncovered a massive online investment fraud scheme, with losses estimated at $300 million. The operation led to 15 arrests and the shutdown of bank accounts tied to the scam.
